Our Faith
Our Pentecostal identity is rooted in Scripture, the Apostles’ Creed and responsible life in the Holy Spirit.
Our Pentecostal identity
Scripture. Spiritual maturity.
Life in the Holy Spirit.
Our theological foundation is Pentecostal teaching rooted in Scripture. We affirm the Apostles’ Creed as a foundation of Christian identity and unity in the Body of Christ.
We value the work and gifts of the Holy Spirit within a biblical, responsible and pastorally accountable church life. Our aim is to point people to Christ and equip them to serve with truth, freedom, responsibility and love.
We seek unity with the wider Body of Christ, serving in mutual respect and cooperation.
- Christ at the centre: our aim is to lead people to Christ and help them follow Him in daily life.
- Scripture as our foundation: teaching and spiritual practice belong within a biblical framework.
- Pastoral accountability: gifts and ministry develop within caring, responsible relationships.
- Freedom with responsibility: we reject manipulation, religious pressure and leadership built around a personality.
Faith expressed through ministry
Our approach brings together pastoral care, Bible teaching, evangelism and the development of gifts within the Body of Christ. We see spiritual maturity and accountability as the foundation for serving others.
Our relationship with the local church
We seek to strengthen churches through mutual respect and cooperation. Gifts and ministry develop within caring relationships, with freedom joined to truth, responsibility and love.
